Sweet on You
(Bradford Sisters #3)
By Becky Wade
Christian Contemporary Romance
Paperback & ebook, 368 Pages
April 30th 2019 by Bethany House Publishers
Britt Bradford and Zander Ford have been the best of friends since they met thirteen years ago. Unbeknown to Britt, Zander has been in love with her for just as long.
Independent and adventurous Britt channels her talent into creating chocolates at her hometown shop. Zander is a bestselling author who’s spent the past 18 months traveling the world. He’s achieved a great deal but still lacks the only thing that ever truly mattered to him–Britt’s heart.
When Zander’s uncle dies of mysterious causes, he returns to Merryweather, Washington, to investigate, and Britt is immediately there to help. Although this throws them into close proximity, both understand that an attempt at romance could jeopardize their once-in-a-lifetime friendship. But while Britt is determined to resist any change in their relationship, Zander finds it increasingly difficult to keep his feelings hidden.
As they work together to uncover his uncle’s tangled past, will the truth of what lies between them also, finally, come to light?

My Review
Two words – Loved It.
The romance between Britt and Zander once Britt let him close was well worth the wait. I loved how Zander managed to balance his strong feelings for her with her fierce need for independence. It takes a strong and patient man to fully love someone that independent. Zander made me appreciate all the men in this world who are up to the challenge that comes from loving a strong willed woman. I really liked Britt’s sisters from the previous books but wasn’t sure I would like Britt. It did take some time for me to feel that way about her but eventually it happened.
I really enjoyed the mystery surrounding Zander’s uncle. It was a good way to get Britt and Zander to work close together.
One of my favorite things in this story was the snippets of conversations between Britt and her sisters. I particularly liked the conversation involving how much Nora loved calling John her husband.
What I enjoyed most about this book:
When Britt was finally able to accept Zander’s love. It was such a sweet moment. My heart went pitter-patter in my chest. 🙂
What I didn’t like about this book:
I didn’t really get into the relationship between Clint and Nikki but they were fun and quirky characters that added a little flavor to the story.
My rating: 5 out of 5 stars
Would I recommend this book to others? Yes. I loved the depth of feeling that Britt and Zander experienced. The romance was swoony, the characters were real, and the mystery added great tension. This is the third and final book in the series. It can be read as a standalone although I do recommend all of them.
Note: I received this book complimentary as a participant of the Prism book tour. I was not required to give a positive review. All of the opinions I have expressed are my own.

I struggles with Britt for a bit. A part of me felt like she was using Zander. I loved Zander and the chance to reconnect with the sisters.
