What is this book about?

To give two little boys a home…

She must take a chance on forgiveness.

The last person Valerie Williams expects to rescue her and her toddler twin brothers from a fiery blaze is Brett Richardson, her high school nemesis. But with her house burned down, Valerie is forced to stay at the same inn as Brett and work together on the town festival. Now Brett has the chance to make things right, but can Valerie let go of the past to make way for a future together?

My review:

There was so much to like about this story, great characters, sweet romance, small town atmosphere, lovable children, and a wonderful faith thread. I was very impressed by the hero actually praying over the heroine. Perhaps to some that may come across as preachy, but for me it was a clear representation of Brett’s faith. The interactions between him and Valerie’s twin boys warmed my heart. Valerie was a hurting soul and I really enjoyed watching her and Brett overcome the past and fall in love.

Would I recommend this book to others?  Definitely. Wonderful characters, real romance, inspirational thread. This is the fourth book in the series and I read it as a standalone but now I want to read the previous books.
