What is this book about?
When rancher Cade Moulten decides to get a therapy dog for his ailing grandmother, he doesn’t expect a fluffy Pomeranian—or a pretty veterinarian trainer. But Cade will do anything to prove he’s a changed man, even train the small K-9 alongside Mackenzie Howard. Soon the weekly sessions with Mackenzie have Cade wishing for more. But will he risk revealing his shameful past for a chance at acceptance?
My review:
This was a nice romance bite of a story. The romance was sweet, the conflict was understandable (although I did think Cade was more dramatic than he should have been of his past), and there was a cute little dog who always knew when her therapy services were needed. I also enjoyed the overt matchmaking attempts as well as the fun acknowledgment of those attempts by Cade and Mackenzie.
What I enjoyed most about this book:
Tulip doing her work as therapy dog.
What I didn’t like about this book:
Cade’s feelings about his character were very dramatic
Would I recommend this book to others? Yes. Sweet romance with interesting characters, relatable emotions, and cute working dog. This is the third book in the series and can be read as a standalone.
