Can being handsome be a character flaw?

Have you ever noticed that there are some species of animal where the male stands out from the female? Those kind of observations can take a writer down many rabbit trails but they can also provide inspiration for the people in their stories.

Such a rabbit trail did that for me.  I’m talking about it over at Romance Readers’ Cafe’ this week.

I’d like to know what you think. What kinds of issues would a really handsome hero have?
