RUNAWAY IDEA

Excitement begins the day!
A new idea has come my way.

Gotta get that idea down.
Before it ups and leaves my crown.

Searching frantically for a pen and paper.
Didn’t know finding it would involve a caper!

Mumbling aloud to myself.
Hope nobody is watching – I may need help!

Dust on the TV?
I think that will do – let’s see!

Finger poised to record my best.
Hovering about my homey mess.

Using my finger as a pen…
