Welcome to this unboxing of a the Honey Bee Book Box subscription for December 2021.

I have found some wonderful boxes. My YouTube channel is full of video unboxings if you are interested. I also share my unboxings on my sister website for those boxes that are not books.

By far, my favorite boxes are the ones with the books in them. And those unboxings I share on this website.

I order this subscription through Cratejoy (affiliate link). The box that I subscribed to is the monthly box which includes two LDS books in a wide range of genres (both fiction and non-fiction) and a bookmark or sticker.

What did I get in my box this month? I am going to share the contents with you here. My review is not for the books or the items I received because I haven’t read/used them yet, but instead will be for the content and subscription experience.

Unboxing

  • The box arrived in okay shape and well labeled.
  • The first item in the box was the book, Snow Whyte and the Queen of Mayhem by Melissa Lemon.
  • The second item in the box was the book, The Window Builder by Kelly Hoose Johnson.
  • The third item in the box was a bookmark.
  • The fourth item in the box was a sticker.

Here is everything I received in the box.

Review

What I liked:

  • I could pick the genre I wanted to receive.
  • They offer non-fiction as well as fiction.
  • Everything was packaged well.
  • The books are LDS prints (clean reads).
  • Price includes shipping.

What I didn’t like:

  • Smaller hardcover option rather than a full sized trade book
  • Genres were not my usual reads

Overall Opinion

This is my second box with this service. The price includes shipping and I get two clean reads books out of it. I like that I can try new to me authors in a safe manner. The sticker was a nice add but the bookmark wasn’t anything special. I also felt that they didn’t curate the genre of books as well for me. I did indicate fiction, but specifically romance, mystery, and historical. These books were YA fantasy and YA general fiction. But I will give them a try.

This subscription service is $22/month which includes shipping.
