Welcome to this unboxing of a the Literary Book Club book subscription box for October 2021.

I have found some wonderful boxes. My YouTube channel is full of video unboxings if you are interested. I also share my unboxings on my sister website for those boxes that are not books.

By far, my favorite boxes are the ones with the books in them. And those unboxings I share on this website.

Literary Book Club is a bi-monthly subscription that includes a collectible edition of a classic book and thoughtful, curated gifts to enhance your reading experience. The gifts arrive wrapped and numbered with page numbers to open as you read. The box ships every February, April, June, August, October, and December.

What did I get in my box this month? I am going to share the contents with you here. My review is not for the book or the items I received because I haven’t read/used them yet, but instead will be for the content and subscription experience.

Unboxing

  • The box arrived well labeled in a very nice collectable box.
  • On the top was a wax sealed note introducing the classic book for the month.
  • The first bag in the box contained the book swag: an exclusive sticker, bookmark, and bookplate. There was also a bookish pin in one of the other bags.
  • The second bag in the box contained a Cosmopolitan Blush Cocktail Mix.
  • The third bag in the box contained a set of three fountain pens and a journal.
  • The fourth bag in the box contained an exclusive handmade artisan candle.
  • The fifth bag in the box contained the featured book, Dracula by Bram Stoker (Chiltern Edition).
  • The sixth bag in the box contained an Artisan Peony Wooden Cheese Board, Garlic and Cheese Dip Mix, and Cheese Knife.
  • The seventh bag in the box contained a Bibliophile Reading Journal by Jane Mount.
  • The eighth item in the box was an 8×10 exclusive art print with a quote from the book.

Overall Opinion

This is the second box for this debut book subscription service. I missed the first box which had sold out by the time I heard about it. I enjoyed the unboxings for that box so much that I put myself on the waiting list to subscribe. I was really impressed with the number and quality of items. The curation was great and the classic book was a very nice edition. This was a fun box to open and I’m looking forward to reading the book and enjoying all of the products that came with it.

This subscription service is $74.99 plus $9.95 shipping per box.
