Unboxing and Review: Unplugged Book Box (May 2022)
This page contains affiliate links. If you click a link and buy something, I receive a commission for the sale. This does not cost you anything. But if you do use my links, I appreciate your support.
I have found some wonderful subscription boxes. My YouTube channel is full of video unboxing’s if you are interested. I also share my unboxing’s on my sister website for those boxes that are not books.
By far, my favorite boxes are the ones with the books in them. And those unboxing’s I share on this website.
This is a one time purchase from the Unplugged Book Box (affiliate link). I did not subscribe, I got this box as a one-time purchase to try it out. This is a monthly subscription service. You can choose the YA fiction or adult fiction box. The boxes include one new fiction book, and 4-6 high quality lit-inspired self-care and novelty products.
What did I get in this box? I am going to share the contents with you here. My review is not for the book or the items I received, but instead will be for the unboxing experience.
Unboxing
- The box was arrived well labeled so I knew what was inside.
- There was a product card inside giving information on the contents. The theme for the month is Endorphin Rush.
- The first item in the box was a Bridgerton Welcome Mat.
- The second item in the box was a Kiss Quotient Milk Bath.
- The third item in the box was a Reminders of Him Tea.
- The fourth item in the box was a tea spoon.
- The fifth item in the box was a Unhoneymooners Sugar Scrub.
- The sixth item in the box was the book, Reputation by Lex Croucher.
- The last item in the box was the featured book, The Stand In by Lily Chu.
This is everything I received in the box.

- Everything was packaged well.
- Two books.
What I didn’t like:
- Nothing
Overall Opinion
I really enjoyed opening this box. The products were fun and curated nicely to fit either the book or the literary theme. My favorite products were the welcome mat and the tea spoon, but the books were the stars of this box. Many of the titles that this service offers are not my usual reads so I won’t be subscribing (yet) however I like that I can order a one-time purchase if a book selection catches my attention – which is what happened with this box. 🙂 I’m keeping an eye on this service.
I paid $53.00 for the one time box. The subscription service is $39.99 per box plus $9.35 shipping so it is a little cheaper to subscribe.
