Welcome 2022! My word for the year

I begin the new year by choosing one word to represent my goals or focus for the year. Sometimes I accomplish them. Other times they serve as reminders of the things I want to keep foremost in my life.

My word for 2021 was ‘faithful’. Not only did it encourage me to be faithful in my walk with God and my relationships with others, but it reminded me that God is always faithful. He did not disappoint.

This year, as I remember God’s faithfulness, I also want to show my appreciation for it. The word I’ve chosen for 2022 is:

“GLORIFY”

glorify (v.): to honor with praise, admiration, or worship

No matter what this year brings, I want to keep God as top priority. With my writing, in particular, I will try to honor Him. After all, isn’t that what we are supposed to do with our lives?
