Welcome to this unboxing of a the Literary Book Club book subscription box for August 2021.

I have found some wonderful boxes. My YouTube channel is full of video unboxings if you are interested. I also share my unboxings on my sister website for those boxes that are not books.

By far, my favorite boxes are the ones with the books in them. And those unboxings I share on this website.

Literary Book Club is a bi-monthly subscription that includes a collectible edition of a classic book and thoughtful, curated gifts to enhance your reading experience. The gifts arrive wrapped and numbered with page numbers to open as you read. The box ships every February, April, June, August, October, and December.

What did I get in my box this month? I am going to share the contents with you here. My review is not for the book or the items I received because I haven’t read/used them yet, but instead will be for the content and subscription experience.

The box arrived well labeled in a very nice collectable box.

On the top was a wax sealed note introducing the classic book for the month.

The first bag in the box contained Marmee’s Evening Tea in Apple Cinnamon flavor from Teapigs.

The second bag in the box contained the book swag: stickers, bookmark, and bookplate. There was also a magnet.

The third bag in the box contained the book Flower Fables by Louisa May Alcott.

The fourth bag in the box contained an exclusive handmade artisan candle.

The fifth bag in the box contained an Honorary March Sister enamel pin.

The sixth bag in the box contained a Black Currant with Wild Mint Gourmet Preserves and Wooden Spoon Set.

The seventh bag in the box contained a Tiny Notes in Soft Floral Set.

The eighth item in the box was a 3D Coffee bookmark.

The ninth item in the box was the featured book, Little Women and Other Novels by Louisa May Alcott (Barnes and Noble Edition).

The tenth item in the box was an 8×10 exclusive art print with a quote from the book.

The eleventh item in the box was a Little Women Cookbook.

Here is everything I received in the box.

Overall Opinion

This is the debut box for this book subscription service. I missed it originally but when they re-stocked it, I jumped at the chance to get it. This subscription is fast becoming one of my favorites. I was really impressed with the number and quality of items. The curation was great and the classic book was a very nice edition. This was a fun box to open and I’m looking forward to reading the book and enjoying all of the products that came with it.

This subscription service is $74.99 plus $9.95 shipping per box.
