Welcome to Day 8 of the 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways for 2023!

There are many books that I would love to see made into movies, but many of them would be difficult to capture the full essence of in a shorter medium. However, one of my favorite book-to-movie stories is Anne of Green Gables. I saw the 1985 movie before reading the book and was pleasantly surprised at how true the movie stayed to the book. Of course the movie is almost four hours long so perhaps that was the reason.
