What is this book about?
With her father dead, her fortune stolen, and her fiancé casting her aside, Miss Drusilla Merriweather’s privileged life has been upended. I would bring a fiercely loyal dog to the story. This dog would be almost glued to the main character out of unconditional love. But this dog also has an uncanny ability to sense when another person has good or bad intentions (or worse) and when the owner of this dog meets what she thinks is her rival, the dog instantly loves this person too. This makes the character question the motivations of her assumed rival as well as her own assumptions.

I would bring a miniature poodle because I like really small dogs. I would be a lonely widow that had my small dog to keep me company. My dog would get away from me on a walk and a young lady would catch her for me and we would become best friends.

Since I’m a fairly new chicken mom, I would bring my smartest chicken, Lucy. Lucy would be very protective and chase and peck anyone trying to hurt her humans. Lucy would also be a source of comfort for a lonely character. And since Jen’s books are so hilarious, Lucy would definitely bring some of the comedy.

I would bring my 5 pound yorkie, Charleigh. She would win the hearts of the characters, especially the children. If a storm comes up however, she would need to be held in your lap.

Oh my gosh, the answer to this is easy. I’d of course bring our cat Marlowe. His role would be chasing my husband around the house (like he does now) & finally to clues.

I would bring a hedgehog in honor of my late Mr. Henry who would always be causing the utmost trouble at just the most romantic times and hiding away once the chaos in started.
