What is this book about?
Emily Price–fix-it girl extraordinaire and would-be artist–dreams of having a gallery show of her own. There is no time for distractions, especially not the ultimate distraction of falling in love.
But Chef Benito Vassallo’s relentless pursuit proves hard to resist. Visiting from Italy, Ben works to breathe new life into his aunt and uncle’s faded restaurant, Piccollo. Soon after their first meeting, he works to win Emily as well–inviting her into his world and into his heart.
Emily astonishes everyone when she accepts Ben’s proposal and follows him home. Nature – critters in their natural environment.
As a photographer, I love capturing two things as once. Capturing wild critters in their beautiful environment allows me to do just that. For me, nothing compares! It doesn’t have to be the big and fears critters either (although I’ve done and love those too). It can be a butterfly on a freshly opened flower or a pair of squirrels playing around after having enjoyed some blueberries off our bushes. Going into the wood, it coud be a wild turkey scratching around in the leaves looking for a snack.

My Dad and Stepmother would be my inspiration, as they are both very artistically gifted. I didn’t get that gift, but I do consider my quilting my “artwork.” I think I’ve finally convinced my Dad that quilting does count for my artistic creativity.
