Police officer Isabelle St. John loves her crazy, loud, law-enforcement family. She knows they’ll be there for her when things get tough. Like when her partner is murdered and she barely escapes with her own life.

Izzy is determined to discover exactly what happened, and her investigation sends her headfirst into a criminal organization, possibly with cops on the payroll–including someone from her own family. With her dead partner’s brother Ryan, a handsome homicide detective, shadowing her every move, Izzy’s head is spinning. How can she secure justice for her partner when doing so could mean sending someone she loves to prison?

And how will she guard her heart when the man she’s had a secret crush on for years won’t leave her side?

Called to Protect (affiliate link)

After being dumped by her fiancé, Chloe St. John has decided that the only male she likes is her K-9 German shepherd partner, Hank. But being over the whole romance thing has perks–like giving full attention to her job. Attention she’s definitely going to need because a case of human trafficking with connections to her missing cousin just landed in her lap.

Deputy US Marshall Blake MacCallum is in a race against the clock to rescue his kidnapped daughter when Chloe and Hank are asked to be a part of the task force assembled to bring down the traffickers. Chloe finds herself attracted to the silent, suffering man. But can she trust him?

And can Blake trust himself around this firecracker of a woman?

Code of Valor (affiliate link)

What Detective Brady St. John really needs is a relaxing vacation. Unfortunately, just as the sun is setting on his second day at a friend’s cabin on Lake Henley, he hears a scream and races to rescue a woman from her would-be killer. When the killer escapes only to return to finish the job, Brady vows to utilize all of his many resources to keep her safe–and catch those who would see her dead.

Financial crimes investigator Emily Chastain doesn’t trust many people. And even though she’s trying to cooperate with the detective who saved her life, there are some things she doesn’t know–and some things you just don’t share with a stranger.

Little does she suspect that what she doesn’t know just might get them both killed.

Vow of Justice (affiliate link)

FBI Special Agent Lincoln St. John is living his own personal nightmare. When the woman he loves, Allison Radcliffe, is killed, he devotes himself to tracking down the killers and making them pay for their crimes.

He expected it to be a challenge. What he never expected was to find Allison very much alive shortly after her “murder.”

As his anger and hurt mix with relief, Linc isn’t sure how he’s supposed to feel. One thing he does know for sure: he and Allison will have to work together to stop a killer before she dies a second time–this time for good.

The family has a,ready done a background check. The6 await our arrival so they can interrogate my guest. As the guest finishes a glass of water, my brother takes it us8ng a napkin. In the kitchen is a set up to do fingerprint analysis. Poor guest msy not want to visit me again.

The family is kind but follow their usual tactics of discreetly interrogating my guest. When my father offers to refill my guest’s drink, he takes their glass and proceeds to the kitchen. From previous experience, I know that he is actually going to to lift fingerprints off the glass to run a background check. I smile and shake my head. My family is very protective of me. Their whole sleuthing of any date I bring home can be somewhat frustrating, but I know they do it because they love me.

My family is social but they are always looking out for me. A few questions that won’t raise suspicions, and with the answers given, I get a wink from my brother. All is well.
