What is this book about?

As a reporter, I would highlight a bake-off using strawberries. Perhaps using the most strawberries as well as presentation.

I’d cover the event where the town is trying to build the lastest strawberry sundae. It starts the day before when everyone is out picking fresh strawberries at a local farm. Than on THE day, they have ice cream churns running all over the courthouse square – from electric ones where there are electric outlets to hand cranks elsewhere – chunk full of fresh strawberries. The kids are loving learning how to make ice cream by participating in taking turns sitting on the blankets on top of the churns. To the side, ladies are taking fresh strawberries and making the sauce to cover the ice cream for the topping as well as leaving some whole to the last garnish. While they might not have made guiness world record statis, there was plenty of strawberry ice cream sundae to go around to all the town folk as well as to the enormous amount of tourist that came to town for the big Strawberry Festival.
The dessert that won the strawberry food contest was for Strawberry Delight. It has a nut based crust, topped with a cream cheese mixture, fresh halved strawberries and then a strawberry gelatin mixture. It’s got the crunch of the crust, the creamy accent and then the fruity layer that all add up to a fabulous, cool dessert to eat on a hot summer day or for any time of the year.

I would highlight a food truck that’s offering a strawberry shortcake with real homemade whipped cream. Now my mouth’s watering!
