What is this book about?

Vienna Price never intended to return for more than a passing visit to Oregon and all the bad memories she’d left behind. But when your career tanks, home is where you go to nurse your wounds and chart a new course. Only temporarily, of course–because as much as she loves her quirky mom, anything more than a short stay would drive them both crazy.

A trip to Oregon isn’t in Matt Quinn’s plans, either, until a perfectly timed appeal for help arrives from his sister. What better place to decompress after a shattering loss than a quiet, seaside town named Hope Harbor? But R&R isn’t on the agenda when he arrives to find his sister’s new enterprise on life support.

Vienna, however, may have just the skills needed to resuscitate the foundering B&B–if Matt can convince her to hang around long enough to mend an inn . . . and his heart.

My review:

It was great to visit the town of Hope Harbor again and get wisdom from local taco seller, Charlie. The romance between Vienna and Matt was very sweet and satisfying. Even though neither one was looking for romance, the sparks that flew between them said different. In addition, a secondary couple brought another sweet story to the table. I really enjoyed watching the entire puzzle come together as the couples found their place in each other’s lives. Oh, if only we could all live in such a town.

What I enjoyed most about this book:

Sweet satisfying romance

What I didn’t like about this book:

Secondary story sometimes slowed down main romance

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

Would I recommend this book to others? Yes. Sweet romance, good characters, and nice world (or town in this instance) building. This is the tenth book in the series but it can be read as a standalone story.

Note: I received this book complimentary as a participant in the Revell blog tour. I was not required to give a positive review. All of the opinions I have expressed here are my own.
