Welcome to this months unboxing of the book subscription service: Book Nerd Essentials from Misplaced Muse Creative. I ordered it through Cratejoy (affiliate link). The box that I subscribe to is the monthly classic box which includes a book, full pot coffee sample, full sized candle, and a surprise bonus item. They also have this subscription for YA books.

What did I get in my box this month? I am going to share the contents with you here. My review is not for the book or the items I received because I haven’t read/used them yet, but instead will be for the content and subscription experience.

Unboxing

  • The box arrived in good shape and well labeled.
  • On the top of everything was a postcard listing the books and candles available in each subscription.
  • The first item in the box was the full size candle: Fellowship.
  • The second item in the box was a Timeless Brew Columbian coffee blend from La Crema Coffee Company.
  • The third item in the box was a Bare Necessities Tea Light Candle.
  • The fourth item in the box was a Metal Book Quote Notepad and Pen.
  • There were also some bookmarks, a sticker and a coaster.
  • The fifth item in the box was the book… The Heroes of Tolkien by David Day.

Here is everything I received in this box.

Overall Opinion

This is my first box with this subscription service and I was really impressed with it. It reminded me of another favorite book subscription service, Coffee and a Classic. I loved the quality of all the items, particularly the book and the candle. I’m looking forward to enjoying all of the items in this box.

This subscription service is $36.95 plus $8.95/shipping.
