Welcome to this unboxing of The Eve Box book subscription for September 2021.

I have found some wonderful boxes. My YouTube channel is full of video unboxings if you are interested. I also share my unboxings on my sister website for those boxes that are not books.

By far, my favorite boxes are the ones with the books in them. And those unboxings I share on this website.

I order this subscription through Cratejoy (affiliate link). The company is a monthly Christian book club created to highlight lesser-known women of the Bible. The Eve Box is a mini version of their Delilah Box. The Eve Box is a monthly box which includes a book, a study/story brochure, notepad, and two additional items.

What did I get in my box this month? I am going to share the contents with you here. My review is not for the book or the items I received because I haven’t read/used them yet, but instead will be for the content and subscription experience.

Unboxing

  • The shipment arrived in a plastic floral envelope.
  • Everything inside was in a cloth draw string pouch.
  • The first item in the box was a Grace & Delilah notepad.
  • The second item in the box was an air freshener.
  • The third item in the box was a thank you postcard and a bible verse postcard.
  • The fourth item in the box was a lapel pin.
  • The fifth item in the box was a devotional.
  • The sixth item in the box was the book… Nerves of Steel by Tammie Jo Shults.

Here is everything I received in the box.

Review

What I liked:

  • Bible devotional included
  • Hard cover book
  • Price is good
  • Cloth draw string pouch

What I didn’t like:

  • Book was biography rather than fiction
  • Floral pattern on pouch
  • Air freshener

Overall Opinion

This shipment was underwhelming to me. I like the idea of the cloth pouch, but I didn’t like the color or pattern. The book was nice and a hard cover but the website did say that the book would be a Christian fiction so I was disappointed that I received a biography. Overall I think the value was good for what I received but this subscription service just isn’t for me.

This subscription service is $17.50 plus $5 shipping for a total of $22.50/month.

I will be cancelling this subscription.
